The Bayelsa Governorship Election Tribunal is a 3-man panel headed by Justice Muhammad Sirajo.
2. Two other panelists are: Justice Yunusa Musa and Justice Owodunni.
3. Justice Sirajo MUST have been made the Chairman of the panel based on his experience on the Bench: A FACT.
4. The Tribunal was unanimous in its decision in 4 of the petitions filed against PDP and Governor Douye Diri while the petition by ANDP was a split judgment with a dissenting judgment by the Chairman.
5. ANDP fielded under-age Deputy Governorship Candidate and failed to replace within time frame slated for substitution of candidates which is against the 2003 Electoral Act as amended. Another Fact.
6. INEC insists ANDP fielded invalid candidates for the election, hence the exclusion of its candidate and non representation of its logo on the ballot paper in the November 16, 2019 Governorship election.
7. The PDP and Governor Douye Diri are joined in a petition filed by the ANDP petition is against INEC (1st Respondent).So, any of the 3 respondents could file an appeal.
8. Governor Diri still remains Governor of Bayelsa State until the case is determined at the Supreme Court. ,1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigera as amended and Electoral Act 2003 as amended. A Fact.
9. INEC rejects the Tribunal ruling on ANDP versus Governor Diri. A fact
10. That APC cannot even participate in a new election even if the Supreme Court endorse the majority judgment of the Tribunal.
