Timini Egbuson, has reacted to claims by his ex-girlfriend alleging he is trying to damage her reputation.
Lydia Balogun, estranged girlfriend of the actor, had accused him of infidelity.
She took to her Instagram account to accuse him of targeting teenage girls for relationships.
According to her, the actor is a predator, a cradle snatcher and a pervert.
She had said, “Meeting this man, I had no idea of his sexual past or who he had been involved with, didn’t know anyone from his social circle and now I know that is also intentional.
“When he told me he’d make an exception for me despite how young I was (I was like 19) I actually believed that and thought “wow he must really like me.”
Reacting to the accusations, Timini in a statement on his Twitter page said all the women he has dated were older than the legal consenting age.
According to him, his relationship didn’t work with his ex due to mistakes from both ends.
“Firstly, I would like to make clear beyond any doubt that I do not condone courting or having a relationship with anyone under the age of consent. Rumours are rumours but baseless accusation of sexual abuse or grooming of underage woman is something I don’t take lightly given the severity of the issue.”
“Lydia and I dated two years ago, we were both consenting adults and our families knew and approved of each other. Our relationship didn’t work out due to circumstances we were both at fault for which resulted in us parting ways.”
He also stated, “Our relationship was a volatile one and mistakes were made on both ends. Nevertheless, I learned from it and have moved on. I honestly would like to put that chapter of my life behind me and I wish her well.”

Take Care of your Two Kids – Uzoamaka to Estranged Nedu
Take care of your two children, Uzoamaka urges estranged husband Nedu
Why I came out was because I have been paying the house rent and I have been taking loans for four years after he kicked us out of the house where we were staying.
Uzoamaka Ohiri, former wife of radio personality, Chinedu Ani, popularly known as Nedu, has called on him to take care of the two children they had together.
She made this call on PUNCH Live as she discussed issues surrounding her separation from the comedian.
Nedu had, in a weekend post on Instagram, claimed that he wasn’t the father of her first child, citing the result of a DNA test.
Uzoamaka, in her PUNCH Live interview, had also explained the circumstances surrounding the birth of the male child, stating, however, that throughout their marriage, she was faithful to Nedu.
She stated that since the comedian walked out of their marriage four years ago, she had been solely responsible for the care of the two children which, she noted, Nedu had fathered.
According to Uzoamaka, Nedu barely knows the last child, a female, because they separated not long after the child was born.
“He doesn’t know the last one. He walked out of her life when she was born; so, she doesn’t know her,” Uzoamaka said.
She lamented that though Nedu is their father, he is not being supportive towards their welfare.
Uzoamaka claimed that she had been battling to pay the house rent and that, despite her pleas, Nedu hadn’t been taking care of the children’s expenses.
Nedu pays the children’s school fees, however, according to her; noting that, that was why she brought the issue out on social media over the weekend.
“He pays school fees. Why I came out was because I have been paying the house rent and I have been taking loans for four years after he kicked us out of the house where we were staying.
“This is four years now. I have been paying house rent and I have been asking him to support. Four years now. That’s why I came out,” Uzoamaka explained.

2021 BBNaija Cross said;
“After the Sunday eviction, I felt like Saskay was playing with my emotions. I mean, Big Brother cannot be playing with my emotions and Saskay is also playing with my emotions.
“My mum used to say a woman’s mind is very deep. If Liquorose had picked me to be her deputy Head of House, I would have picked JMK.”
“I am having a bit of a hard time, having to deal with been nominated and also not knowing Saskay’s emotions towards me.
“I want her to open up a little more so I can understand how she feels.”
